Animal Testings

Animal Testings

Animals are being used for experiments in order to improve cures for people. These experiments reached to top level in 20th century. At the same time, number of people against animal experiments increased also in 20th century. Alternative methods to animal testing emerged in 1970s, too. Today, there are ongoing national and international research and policy efforts to develop alternatives to animal testings. On the other hand, standardization of rules about animal testings began in 2000s.

Lack of control of animal testings are causing to some negative results for animals and this is damaging ecological equilibrium. The tests are used for goodness of humankind but there must be some standards when testing animals. Otherwise, the things performed for goodness of people may cause to the reverse. So, a question emerges from this point. Which one is important; developments in health field or health of animals. The important thing is to improve health field while using animals without giving pain to them.

Avatar Movie 3D (2009)

Avatar Movie 3D (2009)

James Cameron opened a new chapter on the scenes of our lives and presented us the best movie ever made. Not only its visual effects but by also its story, by reminding us the beautiful values of us that we have been disregarding most of the times. While we are developing the devices of communication faster than before, we are breaking our ties with each other unexpectedly.

So, this movie, I guess, is the best not only with its scenes but also with its story. Titanic was also another revolution that nobody would have dare to create, just like Avatar. James Cameron didn’t surprise us by this new revolution, Avatar, but still our eyes cannot believe how something this much amazing can be created by a human, with over-human dreaming and efforts. 3-D visuality, from now on, I think will be asked more by audiences and stories of movies will be created accordingly.

In the history of the Jews, assault of Germany, as the strongest economic, military and cultural power of Europe, from 1933 to 1945, has changed the route of the political path of the world. During the Nazi Regime of Germany, Jews were exposed to cruelties and 6 million Jews were deported and killed during the Adolf Hitler tyranny period. Germany declared judenrein (clean of Jews) on 1943 and 180 000 to 200 000 Jews were killed according to statistics. Those who survived during the period left the country and found new places to live. Palestine was the main route for the surviver Jews and excessive immigrations was performed to Palestine with the hope of having own land of Jews. The holocaust had many impacts onto politics of coming times and still its impacts are obvious onto relations of many countries, and especially in the region of the Middle East. Jerusalem, as a precious city of most-believed religions, is still a reason for conflicts in Middle East and the immigration of Jews to Palestine land began after the holocaust.

Evil in Human Nature and Politics

Evil in Human Nature and Politics

One of the Renaissance philosophers is Niccolo Machiavelli, who lived in 15th and 16th centuries in Italy. He has came to the philosophy scene by his extraordinary ideas on how a prince should be and what elements should be in the core of prince’s administration. He was criticized cruelly by many thinkers because of ignoring moralities, values and religious rules in politics. Although he was even tortured because of his ideas about politics, he had never given up to assert his ideas on how to administer a principality. In the core of his sentiments, there is the justification of the end, which is worthy to sacrifice everything for its sake in politics.
